A song that I like a lot is "Homecomming" by Kanye West. I like this song because it is interesting and I like the flow. One thing people really don't know about this song is that it is about Chicago. Kanye west is such an intelligent artist and uses literary elements in this song. A literary element he used was personification. He said "I met this girl when I was 3 years old and what I loved most she had so much soul she said excuse me lil homie I know you don't know me but my name is windy and I like to blow trees". The girl is Chicago. He personified Chicago to being a girl to make it seem as if he had a real connection with his city. That's why I like this song because it's so catchy and interesting.

  1. I like Kanye's flow on the song "Homecoming". Also I like how you were able to connect what you learned recently in English class to the song and make the connection of the literary elements used.

  2. It is definitely interesting to imagine a city as a little girl.
